Close to Ninety Flights Connected to Epstein Allegedly Landed at or Took Off from British Airfields

A review has uncovered that nearly 90 aircraft journeys associated to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly landed at and took off from British airfields, with some reportedly having onboard women from the UK who assert they were abused by the found guilty sex offender.

Flight Logs Show Trail of Travel

The flight logs were part of thousands of legal papers and papers released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the past year. The analysis found 87 aircraft movements linked to Epstein – including many that were hitherto undisclosed – coming into or leaving from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.

Passenger Details and Post-Conviction Travel

Unnamed female passengers were recorded among the individuals travelling into and out of the UK. Significantly, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a underage person.

“This is ‘shocking’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his operations in the country,” said US lawyers representing hundreds of Epstein survivors.

UK Survivors and Court Cases

Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that individual has not received any contact by UK authorities, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the the Met said they had “not been provided with any further information that would support reopening the investigation.” They noted, “Should fresh and pertinent information be brought to our attention, encompassing any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will assess it.”

Ongoing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to make public all files held by the American government in relation to Epstein was approved by the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of files are expected to be released.

Separately, a federal judge ordered last week that the department could disclose investigative materials from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
