Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Tips from Tiger Woods Before LPGA First Appearance
The rising star maintains substantial social media presence
The young golfer will have plenty of prominent cheerleaders as she starts her first LPGA appearance later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and frequently competes against his granddaughter.
"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she stated.
Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."
"He essentially suggested to compete and have fun," she explained.
"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has participated in a mere three competitions this year and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.
"He is the greatest golfer globally," Kai expressed.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive individual. He suggested me to play, have fun, following the flow."
The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to different demographics, especially among the next generation.
Kai maintains millions of followers and recently launched a personal fashion and living label.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
